There are several excellent documentaries on Lyme that are well worth the time.

As a parent new to Lyme disease, I found reading  watching video talks very helpful because late stage Lyme often presents as a constellation of seemingly random symptoms that come and go over time.

 News Stories & Documentaries

Need a short video to share with others you want to inform about Lyme Basics?  Here's an excellent on from the Alabama Lyme: Lyme in the South

Fox 5 in NYC in July 2016 ran a short special called Lyme & Reason.  There are many uncut interviews with Lyme experts including Dr. Neil Spector who had a heart transplant because of Lyme carditis and Dr. Steven Phillips as well as an interview with the CDC on YouTube that are well worth watching.  Part 2 aired in November 2016 along with additional interviews.  There are also some Facebook videos as well.

Watch the highly recommended 2008 award-winning documentary, Under Our Skin, 1 hr, 44 min.  Graphic/intense, geared for adults. This used to be available at no cost on Hulu but now must be rented and is well worth it. A variety of online streaming sources carry it.  In 2015 a sequel called Under Our Skin 2: Emergence was released and is also available to rent.  Here's the official website: Under Our Skin.

Another interesting documentary (2014) on Lyme disease in France - has English subtitles, Vimeo. 55 min.  "Lyme Disease, A Silent Epidemic" produced by France 5 Public Network.

In the Lyme Light (2016), a documentary produced by university students at SUNY-Broome. 26 min.

Justin & Christa Vanderham's video of a Canadian Lyme and FL-1953 Protomyxzoa Rheumatica journey, with a Christian music soundtrack- very graphic/intense, geared for adults.

A new documentary about the Lyme disease controversy in Australia called Our Battle Ongoing can be streamed free here: www.andysmithfilm.com/
